Kirsten Fuchs sometimes looks at everyday life through smudged pink glasses. With a crack in the glass. But of course in 3D. Big heart, big feelings. Nothing exaggerated, everything true. Suspicion of jokes is confirmed. It does not matter anyway. Fuchs delivers Kirsten Fuchs insights in an inimitable way: you learn, for example, how to make cashiers happy, the benefits of having a plug in your ear or how you can use contractions to generate electricity. It's also about strawberry hat thieves, beautiful sewing moms, confusing dog acquaintances, family, children and park encounters - a kaleidoscope of everyday curiosities.

In addition to texts from her short story collections "A woman doesn't feel something like that" and "As soon as you do something wrong, it's not right," Fuchs also brings her columns, reading stage texts and even unpublished texts.

Kirsten Fuchs (*1977 in Karl-Marx-Stadt) lives in Berlin. She writes for “Das Magazin” and has published various novels, collections of short stories and plays. Fuchs has been active at various reading stages; she is currently reading at “Fuchs & Söhne” and “Des Esels Ohr”. In 2015 she was awarded the Brothers Grimm Prize of the State of Berlin, and in 2016 she was awarded the Kassel Prize for Comic Literature and the German Youth Literature Prize for her novel “Frauenmeute” (Rowohlt Berlin).
